Mustafa Online is an online service that allows you to have groceries and other products delivered to your home.
Mohamed Mustafa & Samsuddin Co Pte Ltd ("Mustafa") is the one stop centre company that ensures that everything runs smoothly. This is done from our office at Mustafa Centre at 145 Syed Alwi Road Singapore 207704.

When you use our app and website, we collect three types of data:
Information that you have provided us yourself
This includes the information you provide when you register with Mustafa Online. For example, your e-mail address and password, but also your address and telephone number, so that we know where to deliver your groceries and where we can contact you if necessary. As soon as you place an order, we also save your order and payment information. You may also provide information yourself when you call or email our customer service.
Automatically generated data
In order to make our app and websites work properly, we also collect automatically generated information. This includes your IP address, the pages you visit in our app or websites, how long you take, the browser you use and the version number and we save the telephone number with which you call our customer service. This way we can call you back if necessary.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, Mustafa Online uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Your account
To use Mustafa Online you need an account. You can create an account via the web. If you do that, we will ask you for certain information. You are not obliged to fill in all the details, but the more complete the information you provide, the better we can tailor Mustafa Online to suit your purposes. When creating an account, a valid email address, password, first and last name, zip code, house number and phone number are required. Without this information we cannot serve you well and you cannot create an account. For example, we need your data to know where we can deliver your groceries to and how we can reach you. In order to guarantee that our prices are lower than or at most equal to online prices of certain supermarkets in Singapore, we look at which zone your delivery address is located.
Your use of the app and websites
When you download or use our app, or our website, we use automatically generated usage information.
We do that in the first place to make the app and website work properly. We can use software to measure and collect visitor data, for example response times, errors and interaction data (such as scrolling and click behaviour). We also use this information to secure Mustafa Online.
We also use part of this data to personalize the app based on your search and buying behaviour. This way we tailor Mustafa Online for you and we can deliver even more personalised services to you.
We link data to the information you have previously provided to us. For example, if you have indicated that you are missing a certain product in the range, if we later include that product in the range, we can place it in the front for you in our virtual store.
If you order groceries via our app and want to have them delivered, we will use the information you provided when creating your account. This way we can handle your order neatly and contact you if necessary.
After your order has been delivered, we ask in the app if everything was satisfactory. This way we can attend to you quickly should if you have a complaint. We also determine how we can further improve our services. You may decide whether you want to participate and what information you wish to provide. We store the information you provide with your order. If necessary, we will use your data to respond to you.
Contact
When you contact our customer service, we will store your contact details and your question or complaint. We use the information we collect to answer your question or complaint and for general statistics.
Abuse and fraud
We hope it never happens, but in exceptional circumstances we can temporarily or permanently block or delete your Mustafa Online account. This includes abuse of our services, fraud or repeated non-payment (on time). In that case, we store your name, email address and IP address to prevent it from happening again. We only provide customer data to the government if we are legally required to do so.
Emails and other messages
When creating an account or via your settings, you can indicate whether we can communicate with you about our products and services. If you have registered for this, we will use your contact details to send you messages via email.

We think it is important that your information is stored securely. That is why we have taken serious technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. For example, we secure our systems and applications in accordance with applicable standards for information security.

We do not store your data longer than necessary. For example, we do not store complaints (and the contact details associated with them) for longer than two years, unless the nature of the complaint makes it necessary to keep that complaint alive longer. We always include the last change date. If we change things in our policy that are important to you, we will of course also let you know in other ways (for example via email).

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Mustafa Online does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child has provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
